Free Live Sessions — Offered While I Complete My Breathwork Certification

Breathwork With Sara

Calm your nervous system, release the stress and anxiety you've been carrying, and find your way back to peace — using the power of your own breath

Your breath tells your nervous system you're safe. You don't have to understand the science to feel the difference — but here's the short version, because it helps to know this isn't just "woo."

Stress and old pain aren't just something you remember in your mind — they get stored in your body. Past hurt, old fear, things you never got to fully feel or express, stay held in your body long after the moment has passed. Your mind forgets, but your body remembers — that's why you can react strongly to something, or feel a fear that doesn't make sense, without knowing why.

This breathing pattern works directly with your nervous system to access what's been stored and give it a way out. You're not just calming down in the moment — you're releasing something. And that release is what makes room for real, lasting peace, not just a few minutes of feeling relaxed.

What Breathwork Actually Does

My Story

I’ll be honest — I'm not a very emotional person. Fairly even-keeled. Sure, I cry sometimes, but not often. So when I signed up for my first breathwork class and heard people usually cry, I remember thinking, "No thanks, I prefer to bottle up my emotions and avoid them." 😬

I went anyway. It's really just lying down, breathing a specific pattern, and thinking. Simple enough, right?

About halfway through, I got distracted by a man near me making a loud groaning sound with every breath. My mind spiraled — he's so annoying, why can't I focus, why is this bothering me so much. And then one word surfaced: judgment. Why was I judging him so harshly? Why can’t I just ignore it? And then it hit me — I wasn't really judging him. I was judging myself.

I'd always thought of myself as someone who'd gotten pretty good at not judging other people — my own past mistakes had taught me compassion for them. But that night I realized I'd never extended that same compassion to myself. I'd been carrying shame over a choice I made almost 19 years ago, and even though I believed I was forgiven, I'd been hiding from it ever since.

That's the moment I understood what breathwork can actually do. It doesn't just calm you down — it shows you what you've been carrying, so you can finally set it down. Since then, breathwork has kept surfacing exactly what I needed to face.

That's why I’m getting certified. Because if one class could do that for someone as guarded as me, I wanted to be able to offer it to other women who are just as tired of carrying what they've been carrying.

What to Expect

This is a free, live 60-minute breathwork session over Zoom — no experience necessary, just an open mind and a comfortable place to lie down.

A few ways to prepare:

  • Find a quiet space where you won't be interrupted for the full hour

  • Wear comfortable clothes, and keep a blanket nearby in case you get cold

  • Lying down is best for this

  • Headphones and an eye mask are recommended, so you can fully immerse in the experience (but not needed)

  • Skip water or snacks right before — anything that pulls your attention outside the experience can pull you out of it. Keep tissues close by, just in case.

Once we begin, I'll guide you through the breathing pattern, and you can just listen and breath. Some people feel completely relaxed. Others feel emotional, even tearful. Both are normal, and there's no wrong way to experience this. I'll be with you the whole time.
